BDL has a track record of delivering global brands, including those of Intercontinental Hotels Group, Wyndham Hotels Group and Best Western. Choosing the right brand for the location, negotiating the licence agreement, interpreting the brand standards and maximizing the ‘System’ resources is where the BDL team has great expertise.

BDL has also successfully developed its own food and beverage and leisure club brands, tailored to meet the needs of each hotel and local marketplace. The Quad Club Health and Fitness was launched successfully in association with four times Olympic Gold Medal Oarsman Matthew Pinsent and has been launched in several locations.

BDL have also developed several critically acclaimed restaurants, including the Docklands Bar and Grill in London and SQ Bar and Grill in Belfast. This exemplifies our talents and understanding of this important aspect of marketing.

Maximising revenue requires a well developed sales, marketing and distribution infrastructure. Brands do not as one might expect, deliver all of the business a successful hotel requires. Hotels also require additional local sales and marketing support and a well developed planning and implementation process.

BDL has a National Sales and Marketing team covering every hotel market such as GDS and online marketing, group or wholesale tour operator sales, aircrew sales, leisure marketing, agency sales and conference sales. This skill set combined with a wealth of knowledge and experience, provide the entire portfolio with the support needed to maximize the opportunities of revenue generation.

Revenue management skills are vital to the success of any modern hotel operation. The formulation of revenue strategy, maintenance and balance of electronic, internet and central reservations systems and optimisation of rates and inventory is required to satisfy the needs of the business.

BDL use the latest tools available in the industry to help maximise revenue. This includes Delphi - the state of the art conference booking platform, Opera & Brilliant- Property Managment Systems and Perform - IHG’s revenue management tool.
