BDL is constantly seeking out and appraising hotel development sites on behalf or wholly owned and joint venture partners, but also other investors. This has involved appraisal of sites throughout the UK & Ireland, mainland Europe and Australia.

BDL will ensure optimum incorporation of the brand standards (fixtures and fittings are open to interpretation - the quality and standard needs to be carefully chosen to ensure the building meets the minimum standards and will be accepted into the brand but will also be robust enough to avoid premature replacement)

Project Evaluation

BDL Management offers the client the benefit of its own extensive development experience to ensure the viability of any hotel project. Assistance can come in the form of consultancy in regard to:-

• Hotel development concepts/project engineering
• Planning of the building to ensure optimum incorporation of the brand standards (fixtures and fittings are open to interpretation - the quality and standard needs to be carefully chosen to ensure the building meets the minimum standards and will be accepted into the brand but will also be robust enough to avoid premature replacement)
• Requirements of the key market segments (e.g. room types and facilities),
• Operation of the building (badly planned interiors can lead to inefficient operations and an increase in ongoing operating costs)
